2. Description of work, tasks and duties

2.1. Develops, using design automation tools, and implements progressive technological processes, types of equipment and technological equipment, automation and mechanization, optimal production modes for the products manufactured by the enterprise, and for all types of work of various complexity, ensuring the production of competitive products and reducing material and labor costs for its manufacture.

2.2. Introduces the order of work and the operational route of processing parts, assembly units.

2.3. Develops plans for the placement of equipment, technical equipment and organization of workplaces, calculates production capacity and equipment load.

2.4. Participates in the development of technically justified norms of time (output), line and network schedules in the development of product designs for manufacturability, calculates the standards for material costs (technical norms for the consumption of raw materials, semi-finished products, materials, tools, process fuel, energy), the economic efficiency of the designed technological processes.

2.5. Develops technological standards, instructions, assembly diagrams, route maps, maps of the technical level and product quality and other technological documentation, makes changes to technical documentation in connection with the adjustment of technological processes and production modes.

2.6. Coordinates the developed documentation with the shops and departments of the enterprise.

2.7. Draws up technical specifications for the design of devices, tooling and special tools provided for by the technology, participates in the development of control programs for equipment with numerical control), in the development of the developed programs, their correction in the process of revision, and the preparation of instructions for working with the programs.

2.8. Conducts patent research and calculates indicators of the technical level of projected equipment and technology.

2.9. Participates in experimental work aimed at introducing new technological processes into production, in drawing up applications for inventions and industrial designs, as well as in developing programs for the introduction of new technology, organizational and technical measures for the timely development of production capacities, improving technology and monitoring their implementation.

2.10. Carries out control over the observance of technological discipline in the shops and the correct operation of technological equipment.

Studying the best domestic and world experience in the field of production technology, develops and participates in the implementation of measures to improve production efficiency, aimed at reducing material consumption, reducing the labor intensity of products, increasing labor productivity.

2.12. Analyzes the causes of defects and the release of low-quality and low-grade products, takes part in the development of measures to prevent and eliminate them, as well as in the consideration of complaints about the products manufactured by the enterprise.

2.13. Develops methods of technical control and product testing.

2.14. Participates in the preparation of patent and license passports, orders for equipment, applications for inventions and industrial designs.

2.15. Considers rationalization proposals for improving production technology and prepares conclusions on the appropriateness of their use in an enterprise.
