Should I quit. Write a letter of resignation: how to decide. Traditions of corporate ethics

"Don't leave your job until you find a new one" - we've heard this mantra a million times. You're tired? Sick? Do you need a break? These are all excuses, whispers an inner voice (which sounds suspiciously like the voice of a colleague, friend, or one of the young people at the next table, whose conversation you accidentally overheard). If you leave now, you will lose. Don't leave your job. Don't make mistakes.

What can be said about this voice? At least this: the option that seems safe to us is not always the most reasonable. When we are under a lot of stress, we switch to survival mode. And in this mode, we are not inclined to think soberly and in detail. We are afraid of risk. We only think about one thing: relax and forget.

In addition, in this state, the chances of finding something better tend to zero. Trying to escape from one captivity, we easily fall into another if we cannot adequately weigh all the pros and cons. It happens that a person simply does not have the strength to fight for better conditions. He is exhausted, his fighting spirit has vanished - only a sluggish, lifeless body remains. Is it possible to hope to impress the next personnel officer in this state?

Before deciding whether to stay in a grueling or unpleasant job, analyze your condition. Perhaps you just need a pause in order to recover. Here are some points worth looking at.

You don't feel safe

Your safety is above all. If you don't feel safe at work, you're better off quitting, even if your finances aren't in the best position. Some workplaces can be real places of increased danger - like disadvantaged areas of the city, zones of radioactive contamination and military operations.

If you are being harassed or threatened at work, speak up to management. If you remain silent, no one will protect you. If attempts to defend your rights have not led to anything, or after a "lull" the pressure on you resumes with renewed vigor - leave boldly and as soon as possible.

Work undermines your health

Remember: your health is always more important. The word "stability", so beloved by many, acts like a slow poison. We become passive, not ready for action - even when the old life brings only suffering. Work is killing you - physically or in any other way? Then you should quit it as soon as possible, while you still have strength left. In some places people work in fear all the time. How do you go to an interview in such a state and expect to be appreciated?

You feel insecure

The hatred of work can become so strong over time that in search of salvation you will be ready to grab at any straw.

It can be a simple "hack", work under the wing of a friend, the merits of which come down to the fact that it brings a little money and allows you to escape from the hell of your former life. But often these respite drag on, and your determination to find your dream job slips away unnoticed.

Do you need a breather

“I was fed up with my work,” says Alexander, “But I was just not ready to immediately take on a new one. I did not have enough time and inner space to understand what I want. I was in a terrible state. I had to leave before I could think of anything else."

Alexander quit, despite the fact that his colleagues considered his act insane. But he himself admits that he felt relieved: “My blood pressure must have dropped by half the minute I left the building.” He decided to do a three-week internship at a new company and got the job a week after graduation.

“This job was completely unrelated to my previous career, I was paid less, but so what? - says Alexander. - I work, I help people. Now I see meaning in what I do. And I can safely plan my next steps.”

You don't have time for yourself

“I never quit my job not knowing where to go,” says Barbara. But now I had to do it. The previous work absorbed all my strength. While I was there, I couldn't imagine my life outside the office. I felt stuck and couldn't move. Now I can concentrate and understand what I really want.

If, returning from work, you feel completely broken (oh) and squeezed out (oh, like a lemon), you will simply not be able to look for a new job. Everything can end up with the fact that in a new job you will not be satisfied in the same way. Listen to your body - it will not deceive you.

If you need to quit your job first just to look at yourself in the mirror and figure out who you are and what you want, do it now!

Relatively recently, changing jobs was a rare occurrence. Most often, a person came to the plant as an apprentice, and then gradually grew up and retired as a foreman or engineer. Today the situation has changed and most young people change jobs quite often. This is due to a change in the economic situation and a large number of private companies. And indeed, how can you work if the authorities not only do not appreciate, but also do not pay the promised wages. And then the question arises, quit or not? There is no single answer, but let's try to understand this problem together.

Introduction

Thinking that you could find a more interesting job is one thing. But to make a conscious decision - to quit or not is quite difficult. It is especially difficult if you are not here for the first time. In this case, a well-coordinated team also holds. Carrying out a dismissal plan in this case lasts for months. And therein lies the biggest mistake.

  • Those who grew up in the company, that is, got a job immediately after graduation educational institution. He is accepted into the team, taught, and if the question arises: quit or not, this is equal to leaving the family.
  • Successful employees. If you have achieved some success in your workplace, then a psychological connection with it is formed. It turns out that you are throwing your offspring.
  • Uncommunicative people. Change is usually very difficult for them. It is better to put up with some nuances in the old place than to meet with the unknown.

The decision to quit or not is not formed from scratch. It means that something does not suit a person so much that he is ready to completely turn his whole habitual life upside down. In this case, psychologists recommend listening to yourself. If getting up in the morning becomes unbearable, then you need to change something immediately. Everything is not so scary, your company is not the only one in the city. And the experience gained will definitely help in the next job. In any case, it's better than starting each day with the thought that it would be better if I didn't wake up.

Where does it all start

Thinking about quitting or not comes to mind quite often. But going up to the boss and telling him about his decision is a completely different matter. According to statistics, more than half of the workers start their day with just such an idea. But not everyone can approach the boss and say about their desire to part with the company. At least not without much preparation.

Behind the desire to close the door behind you and forever forget about the hated bosses, a whole series of thoughts appears, which often stop for a while or forever. Excuses or objective reasons, the availability of loans, the illness of relatives or the education of children become in our eyes weighty arguments to endure a little more.

How do you decide to quit your job? You just need to sit down and paint all the pros and cons. Of course, if there are more positive moments, and today you just got tired and the thought flashed to quit and relax, then most likely you just need to take a little vacation. But if the cons outweigh, then you need to part with work without fear. All thoughts that it will soon become easier are self-deception. The result will be regret that the decision was not made much earlier.

List of reasons

Before a vacation or after a difficult project, each person can say that he is deeply disgusted with work. But this does not mean that it should be abandoned immediately. The desire to quit will be natural if you have received a reprimand from the boss, especially if he is undeserved. But these are all household trifles that can be easily overcome.

Give confidence in the correctness decision A list of reasons will help. To do this, write down ten reasons for dismissal on a piece of paper. Arrange them in descending order of importance. Among them are the following:

  • The day off is ruined by the thought of the coming week. Moreover, this thought begins to haunt from early morning, killing all pleasure.
  • In the morning you are already watching the clock hand and mentally persuading it to hurry up.
  • There is no desire to go with colleagues somewhere after work.
  • The results are not encouraging at all. Even if you gathered your will into a fist and did something worthwhile, you still think that time was wasted. The work is not exciting.

If you easily found five or more reasons for yourself, then this is an occasion to seriously think about it. Determine for yourself that every week you will find at least two new reasons for quitting. And if week after week there are more and more new reasons, then it’s really time to look at vacancies and look for new employment options.

If you stay

It is advisable to write another list. Here you will need to list the reasons that keep you in the same place. Since you won’t be able to change jobs overnight (usually, you need to warn about leaving a month before the dismissal), you can gradually deal with this list.

What can appear here? Usually these are money-related reasons, as funding will stop upon dismissal. The fewer items on this list, the better. Moreover, it must be worked on weekly, reducing the number of points by one or two per week.

For each factor that prevents you from leaving the employer, come up with an alternative. Accordingly, the fewer points remain, the easier it will be for you to part with the employer.

Your views

This is a question that is often asked by a psychologist. How do you decide whether to quit or not? After all, this is such a complex and multifaceted question that you will not immediately find an answer to it. In addition to the lists listed above, you need to create an image of the ideal job. Until you understand what you are looking for, you are unlikely to find it. Moreover, how did you understand that your current job is not ideal? There are more questions than answers.

We take another sheet and write out at least 100 points. These are the main points that characterize the vision of an ideal job. The list may be handwritten or typed. The first option is preferable, because it makes you think again about each phrase and live it to the end.

rules

Forming the image of your ideal work, you need to adhere to certain rules.

  • The list must be completed in one go. This is very important, so try not to get distracted by other things. Finish it from start to finish.
  • You can't match what's written.
  • All items must be unique. If they duplicate each other, they will have to be removed. On the other hand, this indicates the special significance of this problem.
  • Everything needs to be listed. The list should reflect both global moments and minor details.

The point is the main thing, you need to analyze the resulting list. The first 30 points are a reflection of thoughts about the need to change jobs. The next 40 points are usually the transition from mundane to real ideas. And the last points reflect the true goals and desires of the employee.

Relationship between the ideal and the real

Now another one important work. Re-read the list and tick off the items that are available in your current position. Check the ratio of available to missing. It is this balance or imbalance that allows you to understand what needs to be done next.

If the job gives a stable income, sometimes even with bonuses, and the company is not going to close, this is already a weighty argument in favor of staying. In modern realities, when people are ready to pay dearly for stability, many will endure any conditions in exchange for a guaranteed salary. But if it can be countered by the absence career development and general dissatisfaction with life, then such moments minimize all attempts to live a full life.

You can't justify yourself by waiting for the right opportunity. It may never come. Therefore, it is necessary to build a chain of priorities. Of course, a piece of bread is very important. But when work ceases to be an outlet, it is better to immediately abandon it. So you give yourself a chance - to find a place to your liking.

If forced to quit

This situation may be the opposite of the first. That is, a person is satisfied with his place of work, but his different ways lead to the fact that it is time to vacate the post. Well, if you are young and active. And if the age is approaching retirement, then it is scary to be left without wages.

First of all, do not write a letter of resignation on own will. Of course, management can start looking for reasons, and even carry out the procedure for eliminating the workplace, but this is long and implies financial compensation. To quit or not to a working pensioner is a difficult question, because there may be problems with future employment. Yes, everyone will appreciate the great experience, but they will still give preference to the young.

Waiting for a pension

If you have no more than 5 years left, then they simply do not have the right to fire you. Actually, this is the reason for the reluctance of employers to hire people over 50 years old. On the other hand, a labor pension is not far off, but it still needs to be earned. Yes, and experience will not be superfluous either.

But the approximation of this age has reverse side. So you need to either deal with your fears today and find a dream job, or not going anywhere, even if they hint. What fears prevent you from doing this:

  • Fear of being unemployed or finding an even worse option than before.
  • Fear of not being important.
  • Opportunity to receive lower wages.

To stop being afraid of being unemployed, you need to work on your self-esteem. Actually, even a labor pension is not an obstacle. Many continue to work and receive wages.

Action plan

So, if you decide to quit, you need to think about how and where to look for a new job. Employment agencies can help, this is their direct responsibility. Make a resume and send it to major recruiting companies. In addition, make a plan of action for each day:

  • List the positions you are interested in and where you can look for job postings.
  • What skills do you have to do this job.
  • What technical means are available to implement the plan.

In principle, employment agencies partially solve your problems. But their work is not free. Moreover, often a recruiter offers those vacancies that really need to be closed, that is, he solves not yours, but his own problems. It is often more profitable to search for vacancies by ads on websites. In addition, here you respond only to those that are really of interest.

Instead of a conclusion

Getting fired and looking for a new job is not the end of the world. This is an opportunity to take a break, look around and start life anew. Of course, no one guarantees that new job will be better. But for this you did all the work listed. This allows you to conclude that the old job definitely does not suit you and understand in which direction to move on.

Question to the psychologist:

Good afternoon, dear psychologists. I have such a situation. I work in a large organization, one of those where employees are accepted by acquaintance. She herself got to the position of maternity leave with the help of her mother's friend, but no one provides me with protection. In the company for two years, and during this time everything has become straining. The boss pushes, finds fault with trifles, can avenge her going on sick leave with additional nit-picking. Employees from the department weave intrigues, discuss everyone. One of them is sarcastic, the other can frankly run over. I am a closed person, an introvert, I always had problems with adaptation in a team, because I can’t constantly communicate, I can’t think of something to talk about, and I get tired quickly from society. And in such a team, where in fact everyone is against everyone, it’s doubly hard for me. I noticed that I began to literally be afraid of people - I constantly expect some kind of attack, jokes, negativity from them, I am in a state of anxiety, but if such a situation really arises, I will be confused and will not know how to react and what to answer, so as not to expose myself yet a big laugh. Workplace mine is, however, separate - however, it is in full view, in the corridor, where it is noisy - they are talking, stamping their heels, slamming doors. For so long, any noise has become annoying. Needless to say, the working day begins with stress, I constantly drink sedatives in horse doses, sometimes I cry and I can’t stop the tears. I really want to quit, because I'm not sure that I can endure another year before the release of the maternity leave. But this work brings good money, I'm afraid to be left with nothing after the dismissal. Yes, and I’m afraid that my parents will reproach me for sitting on my neck if I don’t immediately find another job. Yes, and I feel that I will not be able to find myself again in an atmosphere of general hostility, hostility, when it will still be necessary to adapt to new duties and memorize a lot of information. Tell me, please, is it possible to endure, calm down, and how to do it? Or still quit? Thanks in advance for your advice.

The psychologist Efremova Olga Evgenievna answers the question.

Hello Alina.

I got the impression that you feel at a dead end. A lot of experiences, doubts, thoughts, anxiety have accumulated. There can be no universal answer what to do with your work, first you need to understand yourself, your values and priorities, plans and needs. On the this stage you seem to be in a state emotional burnout and nervous exhaustion. That is, you have accumulated so many negative experiences associated with your work and the team that you no longer feel the strength to cope, and then it really seems the only way out is to stop these torments and just quit. This is a natural desire of the psyche to protect itself from a source of constant stress.

Why is there such an emotional overstrain? When in a team it is difficult for you to interact with aggressive, uncultured, frankly speaking, people, and you do not know how to defend yourself against attacks, intrigues, rudeness, then your natural response emotions of indignation, anger, irritation accumulate inside, and a huge force of emotional resources goes to maintaining external calm and holding this tension. It may be difficult for you to respond to aggression, as it is important to always look “good” or “correct” in the eyes of others, or it is difficult to interact with older or superior people, it is difficult to defend your position and the right to be different from others and communicate in in his own way, etc. It would be nice to understand and learn in this direction, then other teams and contacts will not accumulate so much tension and negative experiences.

I understand that you have been holding these experiences in yourself for a very long time. Of course, drinking sedatives is not an option, and they cannot remove the cause of your suffering. The best thing in this situation is to take a break from work, take a vacation, preferably longer, to stop the action for a while stressful situation. If you do not allow yourself to relax, further consequences of chronic stress can be health problems. It’s unlikely that you will be able to simply “calm down” if the situation at work remains the same, since your emotions are already over the edge, you can’t push them further and try not to notice. Your feelings and emotions, your inner life and state - this is your reality, you live in it, it is part of your personality, and you cannot ignore it, you need to reckon with it and take care of it, because no one except you will do it.

And then deal with the question of the work itself. Going nowhere is definitely not the best solution. In addition to the two extreme options that you are currently considering - quit or stay, there are others. But first, it is important for you to understand your requests for work - What is important to you in work? What is it for you? Write down everything that is important to you. Break down all the benefits that you get from your job and what you want to get from work in principle, and prioritize. For example - salary, experience, knowledge and skills, self-development as a person, communication with people (a team and, for example, clients, partners, etc.), professional growth prospects, self-affirmation, self-realization, status, prestige, additional social package, just work experience etc.

Next, analyze how this work satisfies all your requests. Consider whether it is possible to find another job or position that will satisfy all or most of your requests. Believe me, it's possible. The main thing is to know what you really want, set a goal and go for it.

If, according to you, only a salary keeps you, look at job options where you can receive the same pay. Money - like payment for any work, can be received anywhere. If desired, you can even find the same job, with the same salary, but at least change the company and team. Still, there is no need to get hung up on this, if this particular issue is not acute in life right now. Moreover, you are 24 years old, it is advisable to think ahead and look for a job that will develop you as a person, give you useful and promising experience and skills that will give you the opportunity to develop professionally.

Think about who you will be professionally(with what achievements, knowledge, skills, experience) in 5 or 10 years? Based on this desired image of yourself in the future, set goals for the present, i.e. plan today professional life. What experience and knowledge do you need to acquire now to achieve this?

What if you stay in this job? Will it move you towards your goals and desired future? Or will you regret the lost time? These questions will also help to get rid of many fears (the ones that you voiced - suddenly I will be looking for a job for a long time, or the team will be hostile again, or my parents will be unhappy - they look more like horror stories, when it’s really just scary to change something, take risks, to make a mistake). But as long as a person holds on to fears, he cannot act effectively.

The best option in your situation is to take a vacation to put your inner state in order, to calm down emotionally. It is advisable to change the situation and distract from work and thoughts about it. And then, without a sharp dismissal, find a more suitable place. During this time, if you have already made a decision within yourself that you will leave this job soon, you will be able to relate more calmly to the people and situations around you.

But most importantly, you must understand for yourself that you can choose any option, make any decision. Internally, you need to allow yourself any option. Directly say this to yourself mentally - "I allow myself to quit right now, if I want to." Or "I can afford to quit right now." Find the wording that resonates best with you. Speak and listen to your feelings - is it comfortable inside from this decision? And in the same way, say the second option: "I can afford to stay here for another year." When you mentally allow yourself to make any choice, you will already greatly reduce the tension from the “forced choice”. You will realize that in fact you can make any decision. And you will be surprised - it will even become clearer to you what you really want to do next. Your sense of stalemate or being cornered will go away once you understand that whatever decision you make is the right one, you simply choose which path is best for you and which experience is more valuable.

Good luck, success in life and harmony with yourself!

Not obvious

We spend years doing things we don't like. We can hardly withstand the shift, we come home completely exhausted, and in the morning we trudge back to work without any enthusiasm. We constantly complain, but we do not try to change anything. Everyone has different reasons for not acting. Some are afraid of losing stability. Others are setting themselves up for failure. Some people hope for a miracle. Someone has a "pipe" dream, which is difficult to approach. And a lot of people just don't know what they want.

But life passes. The worst thing you can do for yourself is to continue to sit back. It's time to decide to change! We tell you how to overcome fears, get off the ground and start looking for your favorite job.

1. Search closer

Office workers often dream of a free schedule and creative everyday life, imagine themselves as freelance artists, photographers or writers creating masterpieces in a coffee shop on the seashore. These fantasies seem so unrealistic that only a few dare to make them a reality.

Most of them have been dreaming about global changes for years, but they still remain in an unloved job. Daredevils, who nevertheless take risks, are often completely disappointed in such a choice. Instead of sorting out their true wants and needs, they simply try to escape from the old life, guided by the principle of "the further, the better", and usually this does not lead to anything good.

If you have been wanting to quit your job for a long time, but are afraid that you will have to look for yourself in some other area, radically change your life and start everything from scratch, do not worry: this is not at all necessary. Your field is not limited to the organization in which you are currently working, nor the format to which you are accustomed. No matter how much you are tired of everything, you should not immediately abandon your specialty and accumulated experience. It is important to understand what exactly "got" you, and what else makes sense.

Imagine that you have just entered your profession. What would interest you? What topics would be attractive? Who could be a role model? Read about new trends the best companies and bright names. Look at everything with fresh eyes. Think about other ways you can apply your knowledge and skills: go into a related field, become a lecturer, or, for example, try yourself as a personal consultant.

Most people can find their calling much closer than they think. If you dream of quitting a job you hate, take a look at the options available to you right now.

If you are still sure that you want to quit your current profession, but still do not know where to go, your task is to determine the range of your interests. It's too early to quit, but you can already take the first steps towards a better life.

We often find ourselves in the "professional tunnel": we get too hung up on work and begin to associate ourselves with only one role. We diligently carry out our duties, but at the same time we do not try to develop in other areas and miss new opportunities. When suddenly there is a desire to change something, it turns out that we do not have any special hobbies.

If you find yourself in such a situation, first of all you need to understand what interests you in general. Start trying everything in your free time: read about other professions, go to lectures, conferences and master classes, watch educational videos, attend various short-term courses.

Constantly discover new areas of knowledge. It may take from several months to a year, but it is worth it. As a result, you will get out of the impasse and understand where to move on.

As you can see, there is nothing to be afraid of. At this stage, no decisive steps are required from you. You are just collecting information, gradually approaching the goal.

3. Take action!

You can spend years thinking about your true calling, sorting through different options in your head, but nothing can be done. If you already have at least some idea of what you would like to do, do not waste time thinking too much. You still won’t understand “it or not it” until you try it.

Relax: you don't have to make a decision for life. There is no single destination that you need to decide once and for all. The smartest thing you can do is just follow your passions. Of course, interest is not everything. It is important that you consider your work meaningful. If your hobby does not seem like such a worthwhile thing to you, it is unlikely that it will turn out to be a dream job.

So, have you already begun to take shape some kind of picture? Don't be surprised, but quitting is still optional. You can go to work and simultaneously develop in the area that interests you. Choose professional literature, educational courses, trainings and seminars that will prepare you well and give you a better understanding of the new field.

Do not try to make a clear plan for several years ahead. So far, you don't have much information for that. Move step by step, periodically look around, evaluate the knowledge gained and think about what to do next. Improvise. If at some point you want to change direction again, don't ignore your desire.

Parting words from the author of the book “100 Ways to Change Your Life” Larisa Parfentyeva: “Try one thing, then another, then a third. Be honest: if you don't like it, leave it. Mix. Do it. Leave only what really ignites you, and start working hard.

4. Test Drive Your Dreams

If you have a long-held dream that your thoughts often turn to, but that you have never tried to fulfill, it's time to get the ball rolling. Otherwise, twenty, thirty, forty years will pass - and you will greatly regret that you did not even try.

First, take a short test drive. This is the best thing to do while on vacation. Dreaming of a career as a director? Find intensive courses and shoot some short films. Would you like to publish a collection of your stories someday? Force yourself to write a certain number of words or pages each day. Are you planning to open a mini-hotel? Check into a hotel for two weeks, get to know the owners and staff, learn the business from the inside.

If everything turns out to be about the way you imagined, you can get down to business seriously (see the previous paragraph). Or arrange another test drive to finally dispel doubts.

Perhaps the dream will not pass the test and you will be disappointed in it. This is also a step forward. The main thing is not to give up. Move on, keep trying new things - and you will definitely find yourself.

5. Get rid of fears

No matter how long you delay this moment, sooner or later you will have to leave your unloved job. Even if you have already figured out what you would like to do next, had a dream test drive and learned a lot about a new field, fear of change can stop you.

We are very afraid of losing stability. Here and now we have labor contract, social security, regular salary, usual duties. And in the future - only vague prospects and uncertainty.

Elena Rezanova, a specialist in the field of career strategies, answers this with a very apt comparison. “At least some stability” in a job you hate is like an unhappy marriage to an alcoholic. "At least some" family.

Yes, risk is scary. But familiar, familiar and understandable is not always the best. Try to see the uncertainty not as a danger, but as an exciting opportunity. Deciding to change is like embarking on an exciting journey along an unfamiliar route, where many interesting discoveries, incredible adventures and vivid emotions await you.

Another common fear is related to finances. Many are worried about the possible decline in income. But can't you do without another beautiful dress or a new phone (at least for a while)? To feel happy, you need to do what you love, spend evenings and weekends with your family, go for walks, chat with friends, gain knowledge. This does not require money.

Still worried? Think about this: if you start to enjoy your work and invest in what you really like, then you will increase your chances of success several times over, including material ones.

There is another strong fear that paralyzes us. We are afraid that nothing will work. We feel like we've taken on something too big. Drop these thoughts. If every person thought so, our world would never see great writers, athletes, scientists, businessmen, actors, musicians... You should try to realize yourself in the business that you love and consider important. Everyone will benefit from this: your colleagues, clients, acquaintances.

Take note of the excellent advice from Get Out of Your Comfort Zone: “Think about what you want, not about what you fear. Keep your spirits high by taking full responsibility for your life and everything that happens to you. Stop whining and complaining. Focus your thoughts and energy on what you can do now to improve your life. The rest will follow."

If you do not try to do what you are interested in, then you risk missing your own life, wasting it on trifles. And that's the only thing that should really scare you.

Of course, not everything will go smoothly. Easy and perfect happens only in dreams. But failure is part of being successful and happy life. And if you want to achieve something, you will have to accept the fact that there will be days when you are ready to give up. First of all, take them for granted.

Don't be discouraged if something doesn't work out. Do not give up. Failure is good for success. You've probably heard the phrase, "Experience is the best teacher." Do you really think that it is only about positive experiences? Can you imagine how many achievements you have for every failure?

There are no victories without mistakes. Take almost any success story. Now, when you read it, it looks quite logical to itself. But her hero definitely did not see a coherent plot in the process. He doubted, experienced fears, stumbled, experienced bad days and saw the road just one step away. All this did not stop him. He managed to achieve something only because he studied, drew conclusions and tried again.

7. Think about what will happen to you in 10 years.

If your labor obligations do not charge you with energy, but, on the contrary, only pump it out, you definitely need changes. Still lacking the motivation to quit your annoying job and move on to something else? Then imagine what you will become in 10, 20, 30 years if nothing changes. What tasks will you be doing? Can you feel happy? For clarity, look at your colleagues who have gone forward up the career ladder. Inspire? Do you want to be just like them?

Find your way! You have room to grow! Don't waste time! If HERE do not value your skills and experience, "sell" yourself to others. You have the right.

  • No motivation

It's no secret that not only money can increase work efficiency, motivate you to new labor exploits. Sometimes praise, encouragement in the form of an additional day off or an extra ticket to a concert of your favorite artist is enough.

Some people want to go on a business trip for a couple of days and relax at the expense of the company or get interesting topic. Everyone has their own motivators.

If you work in the sweat of your brow, you climb out of your skin, and you can’t pull out an elementary “thank you” with ticks ... There is no point in crying! We need to change companies ASAP!

Why do you need a job where no one appreciates you, and sometimes does not even notice you at all? If your boss is not interested in your advancement and improvement of professional skills (you yourself do not mind, but it is more convenient for him that you work quietly and do not ask for anything over the norm), you do not need to prove that you are not a giraffe.

It is better to look for yourself than to captivate and interest yourself, thereby gaining the opportunity to earn more and spend work time for profit and pleasure.

  • There is no way to break out of a fixed salary

Do you really understand that no matter how much time you spend on work, your wage Will not change. No premiums, no interest or bonuses. It is more convenient for companies to pay "outsiders" than to encourage "their own".

Remember the classic Nothing is more depressing than regular, but small earnings"? Here! Step up and tear your claws in the other direction.

"I can't just leave like that..." "I need something to live on." These are real excuses! The most banal phobia of an insecure and notorious for the most “I don’t want” slave. Are you not a slave? Why put a stigma on your professional suitability? Living in anticipation of conflict is unbearable! Leave, you can't stay...

If you weighed all the pros and cons and, throwing aside excuses like “I’m no longer young”, “I have children”, “It’s convenient for me to get to my place of work”, decided to fight for their place under the sun and crawl through the thorns to the stars, go for it!

Leave without looking back... Put a thick comma after "leave", because "stay" is tantamount to "surrender" and "bury all hope for the best."

Dear readers! Have you ever wanted to quit your job? What reasons might prompt you to take this step? Is it worth putting up with low wages and lack of praise and encouragement from superiors? Why continue to work if there are no prospects? We are waiting for your answers in the comments!
