Lead the development of normative materials for the repair of equipment, the consumption of materials for repair and maintenance needs, the analysis of the indicators of its use, the preparation of estimates for the repairs, the registration of applications for the purchase of materials and spare parts necessary for the operation of the equipment.

3.6. Organize overhaul maintenance, repair and modernization of equipment, work to improve its reliability and durability, technical supervision of the condition, maintenance, repair of buildings and structures, ensure the rational use of materials for repair work.

3.7. Participate in the preparation of proposals for certification, rationalization, accounting and planning of workplaces, for the modernization of equipment, reconstruction, technical re-equipment of the enterprise, the introduction of comprehensive mechanization and automation of technological processes, environmental protection, in the development of plans to increase production efficiency.

3.8. Organize an inventory of production fixed assets, identify obsolete equipment, objects requiring major repairs, and establish the sequence of repair work.

3.9. Participate in experimental, commissioning and other work on the introduction and development of new technology, in equipment testing, in the acceptance of new and out-of-repair equipment, buildings and structures under reconstruction.

Study the operating conditions of equipment, individual units and parts, develop and implement measures to prevent unplanned equipment shutdowns, maintain the service life of units and parts, overhaul periods, improve the safety of equipment, increase its reliability in operation, ensure the organization of specialized repairs at the enterprise, centralized production of spare parts, assemblies and replaceable equipment.

3.11. Participate in the study of the causes of increased wear and tear of equipment, its downtime, investigation of accidents, development and implementation of measures for their elimination and prevention.

3.12. Lead the development and implementation of measures to replace ineffective equipment with high-performance ones, to reduce unscheduled repairs and equipment downtime, reduce repair costs and maintenance through the use of new progressive methods of repair and restoration of parts, assemblies and mechanisms.

3.13. Ensure control over the quality of work on the installation of equipment, the rational spending of funds for major repairs, the correct storage of equipment in warehouses, the timely inspection and presentation of lifting mechanisms and other objects to the authorities exercising state technical supervision, and amendments to the equipment passports.

3.14. Take measures to identify unused equipment and its implementation, improve the operation of existing equipment, organize repair work on the basis of labor mechanization and the introduction of advanced technology, improve the organization of labor of repair service workers.

3.15. Ensure compliance with labor protection and safety regulations during repair work.

3.16. Participate in the development and implementation of measures to create safe and favorable working conditions during the operation and repair of equipment, in the consideration of rationalization proposals for improving the operation of equipment, give feedback and conclusions on the most complex of them, as well as on projects of industry regulatory and state standards, promote implementation of the adopted rationalization proposals.
