Purpose: the formation of a stable interest in the study of nature in the summer months, education of love for native nature, attraction to reading books. All the colors that there is, splashed out nature in the summer. All colors are juicy and bright. Summer is the time of plants and insects. It's time to get acquainted with this diversity of life. The event is an entertaining trip to the forest, field, or meadow. Together they learned what changes were happening during the summer and that each month is wonderful in its own way. During the event, the children recalled riddles, omens, poems about the summer months. The event was held several times, including for the environmental group, school No. 11.

FOREST PHARMACY - theatrical ecological hour.

Purpose: to acquaint children with the world of medicinal plants, teach them to recognize them by reading books on natural medicine.
To maintain and promote health, people often use medicinal plants. The Forest Pharmacy ecological hour helped to get acquainted with medicinal herbs, learn to recognize them among the variety of plants growing in the meadow and in the forest. RED BOOK TRAVEL - ecological hour

Purpose: to instill in children a respectful attitude towards the natural world, to understand their involvement in the conservation and protection of natural inhabitants living next to us in the same earthly house. To acquaint with the Red Book and literature about rare animals.
At the presented book exhibition "Nature has no superfluous" - various editions of the Red Book of the Russian Federation: animals, plants, birds, fish. Articles from the magazines "Svirel", "Anthill", "Filya", which tells about rare and disappearing representatives of nature. Many writers have works dedicated to our feathered friends, and how many folk signs associated with birds have been folded by people. The blue page of the magazine is about a good friend and helper of people - water. Here are cards with questions, riddles and crosswords about water and natural phenomena. On the red page of the magazine, of course, it is said about the Red Book and about the animals and plants of our region included in the Red Book, about the Kerzhensky Reserve and other reserves. The yellow page is dedicated to the amazing creatures of nature - birds. Many writers and poets have works dedicated to feathered friends. The guys remember fairy tales and poems, where the main character is a bird. The pages of the magazine allow us to show nature as a source of countless mysteries and secrets, develop a cognitive interest in nature.

HEALING LUKOSHKO - ecological hour

Purpose: development of cognitive interests, broadening of horizons, formation of ecological knowledge.
August is the time to start harvesting. Vegetables are always an integral part of our table, but not everyone knows that they are not only tasty, but useful, and even have healing properties. At the ecological hour "Healing basket" the children get to know again what seems to be well-known to everyone: potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, cabbage, etc. As well as how vegetables were used and used in folk medicine, the history of their appearance and distribution in Russia ... During the event, the guys share their taste preferences, remember the recipes for cooking various dishes from vegetables.

This year 22 libraries took part in the implementation of the program. Keeping children informed and encouraged to read is impossible without traditional thematic literature reviews. Bibliographic literature reviews can be both an independent event and an integral part of a complex event. Often literature reviews are conducted at thematic exhibitions, or at exhibitions of new acquisitions. Reviews can also be accompanied by slideshows.

A review of the Deep Sea Whale and Dolphin Books was held in Library No. 20. It was accompanied by an impressive video sequence. The children became interested in a story about the life of fish with the most unusual names: moonfish, swordfish, needle, belt, herring king, sawfish, etc.

Moral and aesthetic education, instilling interest in reading

Organization of children's leisure time, attracting them to reading, broadening their horizons and shaping children's aesthetic perception of the world around them have always been priority areas in the work of libraries in the summer.
