On mobile platforms, IMHO, there are no serious competitors at all, neither in terms of capabilities, nor in terms of convenience.

The program is cross-platform and not only free (which is quite natural), but also open source - its sources are available. In isolated cases, I noticed that peculiar documents sometimes open in the wrong encoding. Adobe Acrobat Reader never has this problem.
