Salary bonuses are most often used to incentivize workers. This is understandable. Who in modern conditions do not want to receive more? Often this is a trifle, but nice.

The only thing that needs to be clearly defined is what these bonuses and incentives will be paid for: for closing a complex project, for delays at work, work on weekends, business trips ...

It should also be emphasized that both bonuses and incentives are a fickle part of income. Often employees get used to to complementary reward, and not having received it, they begin to demand. To avoid this, it is necessary to convey to the staff as clearly and clearly as possible: whoever does not work well will receive nothing, and vice versa.

Bonuses, as a rule, are material rewards, while incentives can be very diverse: from a photograph of an employee on the honor board and ending with a trip to warm lands for two. It should be noted that the material and intangible incentives are inseparable. The bonus system of remuneration is most common in organizations, the main staff of which are production workers or sellers, as well as in the service sector. This form of payment is most effective for employees whose activities directly affect the company's profit.

The overwhelming majority of organizations where the bonus payment system is practiced are private firms, but it is also used at some state-owned enterprises. So, since 2011, this form of payment has been introduced at a number of branches of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Russian Post" for employees of the sales and services department.

Subsequently, statistics showed a stable growth in branch incomes, which indicates the effectiveness of the introduction of bonus payments... It has a lot in common with, but with a bonus system, an employee's salary is made up of charges at a tariff rate with an increase in a percentage of profit, and not a fixed one.

In this it is close to the difference that under the commission system the employee's salary does not provide for a fixed part, including only interest.

Thus, the bonus payment system includes two components:

  • calculated on the basis of the tariff scale approved by the organization
  • and the percentage of profits approved by the manager and enshrined in the employment contract.

In this case, the first component, as a rule, is stable, and the second is “floating”.

For example, retail businesses pay in the form of a daily exit rate and a percentage of total or personal sales.

Advantages and disadvantages

This approach to remuneration may be of interest primarily to young, ambitious professionals who strive to constantly increase their income. After all, neither the employer nor anyone else can guarantee that if an employee received a good salary in one month, the next month his income will be the same.

With this form of remuneration, it is difficult to plan long-term costs, such as a mortgage.

The main disadvantage of the bonus system is that the company's profit is not always influenced only by the performance of employees. Sales indicators or demand for services provided by a company can be determined by other factors:

  • seasonality;
  • the activity of competing firms;
  • nuances of interaction with suppliers, etc.

How to calculate your salary?

The calculation of an employee's income with a bonus payment scheme is made according to a very simple formula:

where Зт is the salary according to the tariff scale (rate), and% is the percentage of profit.

The rate can be, or in the form of a monthly minimum salary. The percentage of profit can also be different: in one case, the total income of the company or its individual division is taken as a basis, in the other, only personal sales indicators are taken into account.

Example 1

Citizen Ivanov works as a sales manager for coffee equipment with a monthly salary of 10 thousand rubles and a 3% bonus on the company's total profit. How much did Ivanov earn this month if the firm's income was 250 thousand rubles?

First, let's calculate the bonus part of his salary. 3% of 250 thousand is 7,500 rubles (250,000/100 * 3 = 7,500).

The tidiest employee

Each of the employees needs to show strength, dexterity and ingenuity and prove to everyone that he is the most accurate employee. Participants stand at a certain distance from each other. There is a chair for each participant (at the same distance). Each employee has a basket with chicken eggs (in the same amount for all). At the start command, all participants begin to transfer these eggs to their chair, but only without using their hands. Who of the employees will prove themselves faster, better and more accurate than anyone in this matter, he will win.

I believe that bonuses allow employees to feel a bit like entrepreneurs, provided that the company's bonus policy is built correctly. And here, by all appearances, it is built well. I judge by the fact that Last year I actually do not take part in the management of the company - all key decisions are made by the employees themselves.

In total, we have several types of bonuses.

Sales bonuses

Sales is a complex and often non-formalized thing, so we are grateful to everyone who brings clients to us and recommends us. Bonuses for employees are 5% of the sale of licenses or the cost of work.

Bonuses for projects

Our specificity is production software with its implementation. The product implementation team generates profit from projects and participates in its distribution. When planning the bonus system, we wanted the team to receive a lot in the case of effective work, and little in the case of ineffective work. Therefore, the size of the team's bonus depends on the profitability of the project and on currently is considered as follows:

- in the case of a negative profitability of the project, the size of the bonus is -5% (the manager pays out of his own pocket, however, so far there have been no cases of negative profitability);

- if profitability 0-10%, the team gets 5% of sales;

- if 11–40%, then she gets 10%;

- for a profitability of 41% and above, everyone gives 15%.

The team bonus is distributed by the project manager at his own discretion.

Annual bonuses from company profits

Now we have an annual team bonus - this is 10% of the profit from sales and support of our projects and products. Thus, employees are, as it were, shareholders of the company. This 10% is distributed as follows:

- 25% in equal parts are distributed to all employees of the company who work for a year or more;

- 75% "in fairness" - depending on the contribution to the development. The amount of contribution is determined by product managers and depends on the number of hours spent on the product and support, work efficiency and other criteria.

In general, our bonus policy has not let us down yet, and for five years there have been no cases of employee dissatisfaction or bewilderment about the size of the bonus. By creating a bonus program, you can either develop a system of rules that employees will successfully hack, or allow the project manager to determine the amount of the bonus. They usually know who is working on the project and who is not - this is always visible.

The system for calculating bonuses can be spelled out in the bonus regulations clearly or in general terms. The legislation does not oblige us to indicate percentage grids in it.

The bonus regulation may also state that the company pays bonuses at the request of the heads of divisions. At the same time, the percentage grid is more a management issue than an accounting one. The accounting department of an enterprise can conduct any bonus and any calculation, except for a negative one, because the legislation of the Russian Federation prohibits any fines and depreciation. Thus, percentage grids, where only positive bonus values ​​are indicated, are rather a guideline for managers and their management. Whoever calls the subject first becomes the new driver. The driver who said a letter for which none of the players could come up with a word gets a prize.

It is necessary to forbid the driver to always call the winning letters (ё, and, ъ, b, s).

The participants sit at the table. A driver is chosen among them. The players pass a piece of candy to each other under the table. The driver's task is to catch one of the players passing the candy. The one who is caught becomes the new driver.

Crocodile
The players are divided into two teams. The first team chooses some concept and shows it in a pantomime, without the help of words and sounds. The second team tries with three attempts to guess what they are shown. Then the teams switch roles. The game is played for interest, but you can count points for unraveled pantomimes.

It is possible to guess: individual words, phrases from famous songs and poems, proverbs and sayings, catchphrases, fairy tales, names famous people... One or several people can show a concept.

Comic test
This test can be done with everyone present. Pens and pieces of paper are distributed to the participants. On the sheets, they should write certain abbreviations in a column. Opposite each of them, participants are asked to write a line from a song or poem.

After everyone has completed the task, the meaning of incomprehensible abbreviations is reported, and each participant can find out for himself and show the table neighbors the results at the specified moment (determined by the line from the song).

You can come up with any abbreviations, the main thing is that they correspond to the theme of the holiday. So that the entertainment does not drag out, three to five moments are enough.

For example, to celebrate the results of the past year, you can suggest the following names for moments and their abbreviations:
PDG (first day of the year),
APG (first week of the year),
SG (mid-year),
NDOG (week before the end of the year),

A simpler option is to throw markers or felt-tip pens (with an open cap) at a target drawn on a sheet of paper attached to the wall from a distance of 3-5. The most accurate participant gets a prize point.

The marker should be designed for drawing only on paper, then random traces of it can be easily washed off with alcohol.

The presenter informs the participants that, without a doubt, a real man should be able to drink correctly. However, the task of the competition is not to drink more than others, but to do it in the most graceful way.

Players stand in a circle. The presenter says: "We each have hands." After that, each participant takes his neighbor on the right by the left hand and with the words "We each have hands" the players move in a circle until they make a full turn. After that, the presenter says: “Everyone has necks,” and the game is repeated, only now the participants are holding their right neighbor by the neck. Each pair of participants is given a newspaper. They should dance so that neither partner steps on the floor outside the newspaper. Each lady holds a ribbon twisted into a ball in her right hand. The man takes the tip of the ribbon with his lips and, without touching his hands, wraps the ribbon around the lady. The winner is the one with the best outfit, or the one who completes the task faster.

Resourceful guests
Several couples are invited. Each participant in the game is blindfolded. Then several clothespins cling to different parts of the clothes. At the signal from the leader, you need to remove all the clothespins from your partner or female partner. The couple who complete the task faster wins the competition.

Where to invest money?
The presenter calls two pairs (in each pair a man and a woman): “Now you will try to open a whole network of banks as soon as possible, investing only one bill in each. Get your initial fees! The rules of the game are explained to the man - "now the lady will sit on this sofa and take sweet candy in her mouth, and your task is to find this candy blindfolded without using your hands and pick it up with your mouth too." A minute of stormy laughter is guaranteed to you.

Do not laugh
Players squat in a circle (female-male-female). Everyone is warned not to laugh (the leader can). The presenter “solemnly” takes his right-hand neighbor (neighbor) by the ear. Part of the company remains outside the door, from where they are called one at a time in the "boy-girl" order. Everyone who comes in sees a picture: there is a column of people ("boy-girl"), depicting a train. The host announces: “This is an erotic train. Train departs". The column starts to move and, depicting the movement of the train, makes a circle around the room. The presenter says: "Stop (such and such)." The train stops.
