Separately, we note that Internet trade in the goods described above does not officially belong to retail, therefore, settlement with the client using the cash register is mandatory. But the law does not require equipping each courier with a cash register - it is allowed to break a check in the office and delay its delivery to the buyer along with the goods. Elwes cash register is a family consisting of several types of devices. They differ in design and scope of functions performed. Currently produced three modifications of KKM Elves:

• Elves-Micro-K (version 01);
• Elves-Micro-K (version 02);

Elves-Micro-K (version 01)

Basic model... Uses the Philips P89C60X2BA processor - the same for all models of the Elwes series. Designed to work only in the trade and service sectors. The functionality is very small, limited to accepting cash payments and accounting for fiscal data. Additional features include connecting external scales.

Elves-Micro-K (version 02)

- option for large trade enterprises with a large number of items available. The number of programmable prices has been increased to 1000 (version 01 has only 100). Also, the device is certified for operation in the field of trade in fuel - gas fuel and oil products.

Exists two options this type of cash registers, differing in the type of keyboard - push-button or film. A barcode reader can be connected, the screen backlight is optionally installed. Initially, it is possible to work with controllers of dispensers at gas stations. A functional RS-232C interface is used to connect to the fuel dispenser. Wireless connection is not possible.

Elves-Micro-K (version 02, with modem)

This model - the only one in the entire line is initially equipped with a screen with built-in backlight... But its main feature is the ability to connect an external modem. With its help, KKM can provide payments for communication services by mobile operators. Payments are possible through various payment systems, including the popular QIWI and MasterPort.

In the original version of the device, the function of connecting additional external devices (barcode readers or proximity card scanners) to it is impossible. To eliminate the shortcoming, an SDK has been developed - the software allows you to adapt the USB port to connect a wide range of devices.

All types of Elwes cash registers are equipped with built-in printing mechanisms. The work uses mechanisms of the SHTRIH-MTP205 model (from the manufacturer) or CITIZEN MLT-288, which allows additional installation of an auto-cutter of receipts. As printing paper rolls with a tape width of 57.5 mm are used.

The Elwes-Micro-K model is popular due to the following merits:

1. Autonomy - a full battery charge is enough to issue up to 150 receipts.
2. 2 options for recharging - through a stationary network with a standard charger and through an adapter from a car cigarette lighter.

Unfortunately, it is not complete without disadvantages:

1. There is no way to issue a cashless payment.
2. Lack of screen backlighting in the basic version - inability to work in the absence of lighting.
3. There is no auto-cutter - there is a possibility of damage to the broken check.

The listed disadvantages are inherent not only in Elves-Micro-K cash registers, but in most other mobile devices.

Instructions

To all products of the manufacturer "Shtrikh-M" in mandatory a brief instruction on setting up and operating cash registers is attached. It also contains key combinations for activating various modes of operation. The most common keys and their meanings:

1. PE- switching between operating modes / returning to cash register mode.
2. PLL- start of entering or completion of entering a combination.
3. WITH- command cancellation / reset.
4. 00 - command confirmation.
5. NS- calculation of the cost of goods by quantity.

Before the first test switching on of Elwes-Micro-K, it is recommended to keep the device in a dry and warm room for at least 3 hours to avoid malfunctions.

The cash register is designed for intensive use, it is possible to reset the settings if the cash register is idle for several days. In this case, the device will ask you to enter a new date instead of the incorrect one (displayed on the screen), which can be done using the key combination:

1. OPL key- the time setting interface is displayed; install it.
2. OPL key- on the second press, the inscription С-00 appears, requesting confirmation of the date changes.
3. Key 00- we confirm the correctness of the entered date.

While working, the cashier needs to know the following combinations:

1. Cash mode - double pressing of key 1, then OPL.
2. Breaking a check - the OPL key, the amount is displayed in the interface that opens, the OPL key - a check is displayed.
3. Registration of several goods - a combination of PL + amount + BB; the combination is repeated until all names are taken into account; PS key - the total amount is displayed, OPL - a check is displayed.
4. Registration of several identical goods - the number of the same type of names + X + the cost of a unit of goods + OPL.
5. Counting change - the combination is repeated for registration of several products; after clicking PS, the amount submitted by the client + PL is indicated.
6. - entering the cash register mode (1 + 1 + OPL), key ВЗ + amount required to return, then BB + OPL.

Although Elwes machines provide for the possibility of returning goods by the customer, it is not necessary to use the function. Firstly, it is not required by the fiscal authorities, and secondly, the processing of refunds does not affect the entire total for the shift.

Elves-Micro-K operates on a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1.3 ampere-hours. When the charge level is insufficient, the Acc Lo formula appears on the screen, and when fully discharged, the red indicator lights up and a beep follows. Work must be stopped immediately, by pressing the OPL key, we connect the KKM to the charger.

Opening shift

To open a shift, you must first enter the cash register mode.

You can cancel a check before it is closed (before pressing the IT key). To completely cancel the check, press the PE key, after which the display will show the message C - 00. Press the 00 key and the message 0.00 will be displayed on the screen, after which you can continue working.

Sending a check to a client via SMS

Before sending, you need to know that the option works only when you activate the SMS sending service at the OFD.

Before closing the check by pressing the IT key, press the AH key and in the field that opens, enter the 10-digit customer's phone number without 8 or +7 at the beginning, to complete the operation, press IT.

X-report output

A report on the current state of calculations, also known as an X-report, is displayed after pressing the following key sequence:

• Press PE twice.
• Press the IT key.
• Press key 1.
• KKT will print the X-report.

Z-report output

A shift close report, also known as a Z-report, is output after pressing the following key sequence:

• Press PE twice.

Registration Elves-MF

Registration of KKT Elves-MF is not an easy task and you cannot call it obvious. In addition, the manufacturer Shtrikh-M informs that only cash register machines with firmware version 0966 are normally registered. Therefore, before registering the cashier with the Federal Tax Service online, make sure that you have the correct firmware version. To do this, print a test receipt. To call a test check, press the keys in the following sequence: PE -> PE -> 00 -> 2 -> IT. On the receipt you will see information about the firmware version (Version). If it differs from 0966, a flashing of the device is required.

Flashing

The flashing process is quite simple with software 1.0.0900RU and above. To do this, you do not need a programmer, but only a program a la HyperTerminal to access COM ports. This program is built into older versions of Windows up to and including XP. If you are using a new version of Windows, then you can download HyperTerminal from the official website (trial version)

Flashing algorithm:

Install HyperTerminal.

During startup, the software will ask for the name of the connection, specify com_E.

Specify the port parameters like this:

• Speed: 115200.
• Data bits: 8.
• Parity is not.
• Stop bits - 1.
• Flow control is not.

Now connect the cash register to the main COM port.

• Turn on the KKT with the IT key pressed, the display will show the message BOOT.

Elves-MF registration with the Federal Tax Service

First option

As in the time before the appearance of online cash registers, you can register a cash register at your branch of the Federal Tax Service.
To do this, you need to select an OFD and conclude an agreement with it, fill out a voluminous form of KND No. 1110061 (7 pages). Then you can take the KKT, the KKT-PC cable, the completed KND form No. 1110061, go to the tax office and wait there in line. Not the most promising prospect, so let's move on to the second option, for the implementation of which you need a digital signature.

Second option

Online registration

To do this, you will need: select an OFD and conclude an agreement with it, connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi (the name and password for the network must not exceed 24 characters each), log in to the Personal Account of the Federal Tax Service, EDS, a cable for connecting a computer and a cash register, software software for editing tables.

• In the LC on the FTS website, connect new CCP to obtain the registration number of the CCP.
• Set the time and date on the KKT (for the setting algorithm, see the Programming section).
• Connect the KKT to the PC using a cable.
• Press the key combination 9 -> 3 -> 0 (strictly in this sequence) to provide Elwes-MF access to the computer. The cash register will display the message CB = HE.
• Turn on the program for editing tables and find the KKT through the program.
• Correct the tables according to the suggested example. Leave the data by default if you do not know what to write in the field.

Record the information from the tables in the cash register.

• Exit the table writing mode by pressing the PE key.
• Press the keys 8 -> 3 -> 0 -> IT -> 1 in succession to enter the mode of access to the fiscal drive.
• Elwes-MF will print the registration information receipt. Check it carefully.
• If everything is correct, press the 00 key to confirm the information. KKT prints out a receipt indicating NFD and FD.
• Go to Personal Area on the FTS website, click on registration number cash register and in the opened form enter NFD and FD.
• If your FDO requires it, enter the required parameters in the FDO Personal Account.

Enter these values ​​when registering.

Or you can independently calculate the desired value. For example, you want to indicate two taxation systems, "STS income - expense" and "UTII". "STS income - expense" is assigned a value of 4, and "UTII" 8. We add these values, we get 12. This number and write it down in the tables as a parameter of the taxation system.

If, nevertheless, you made a mistake somewhere or for any other reason you need to re-register Elves-MF, then it is not difficult to do this.

• Install the MicroCfig program for convenient work with the product database.
• Using an RS-232 cable, connect the KKT to the computer (not supplied).

Press the key sequence:

• 9 , 3 , 0 .

• Start the MicroCfig program on your PC.

Sometimes, when the cash register is connected to the PC and the table editor is launched, the encoding may fly off and the characters in the table columns will be displayed as "???". For your convenience, read the information on the tables. You can familiarize yourself with the tables in more detail by examining the information about what data they accept. These tables are relevant for firmware versions from version 1245. Tables 4, 5, 8 are currently not used when configuring the CCP, so you do not need to enter data there.

What to do if Elwes-MF gives error 236

The error occurs on devices flashed to firmware version 0973. It is caused by scanning the RS-232 port by the cash register for connecting a barcode scanner. To disable persistent port scanning that results in an error, enter the following sequence of commands:

• 4 , 3 , 0 .
• Then IT.
• You have entered the programming mode.
• Then, by pressing the PV multiple times, display the message 2 1 1 1.
• Then press BB repeatedly to display the message 2 1 25 1.
• Click IT.
• Enter 0 if you want to disable port scanning.
• If you want to enable port scanning, enter 1.
• Confirm the operation by pressing IT.
• Reboot the CCP.
