All this, plus a complete modernization of two paper machines, will allow the company to produce more cardboard and paper products, gradually and further increase production. Thanks to Step, it will be increased by another 20% - up to a million tons per year. SLPK began to produce more energy. Its generating capacities have grown by 80 megawatts. At the same time, the new facilities themselves are less energy-intensive and are classified as “environment friendly” - that is, "Friendly to nature".

Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who visited Mondi SYPK noticed that such major changes in the technologies of timber processing industries in a time of crisis for the world economy is a significant phenomenon. The new project is important not only for the timber industry complex, but also for the whole republic and for the country.

The most famous product of the company - Snegurochka office paper - became the Brand of the Year in Russia four times and is reasonably considered the most popular product in its market segment.

The construction of the plant began in 1963 by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR dated 1957. June 25, 1969 - the first cardboard machine was put into operation, and this date is the official birthday of the SLPK.

Production

Founded in 1969, the mill is fully integrated across the entire production cycle - from wood harvesting to shipment of finished goods to a customer.
