Rasmus translation of songs. Lyrics

I rest my case every time we kissed it left a bitter taste
On your cold lips baby it was something that we couldn't fix

No way no way, no way no way
I can't change, can't change my ways

The end of my empire!
The end of my empire!

And I could chase the melody but I let you down
I play the darkest symphony when you're around
When the walls come down...

Eighteen and life; did you ever think it would be like this?
He "s got my eyes as well as whatever habits; let it be a bliss

no way. no way. no way. no way
You can't change... Can't change your ways

I hate to see you leaving but love to watch you go
Keep staring at the ceiling when my world's about to blow
And I could chase the melody but I let you down
I play the darkest symphony when you're around
When the walls come down and face the fire

The end of my empire, the end of my empire
I play the darkest symphony when you're around
When the walls come down...

I hate to see you leaving, but love to watch you go
Keep staring at the ceiling when my world's about to blow
And I could chase the melody, but I let you down
I play the darkest symphony when you're around

The end of my empire!
The end of my empire!
The end of my empire!

Translation: Empire

Like I said, every kiss we kiss left a bitter taste
There was something in your cold lips, baby, that we couldn't fix.

No way, no way
I can't change, I can't change myself.

End of my empire!
End of my empire!

And I could chase the melody, but I let you down.
I play my darkest symphony when you're by my side
When the walls are crumbling...

Already eighteen years; did you ever think it would be like this?
He has my eyes, as well as various habits; the way it will be bliss.

No way, no way
You can't change... You can't change yourself.

I hate to watch you leave me, but I love to watch you leave.
Keep staring at the ceiling while my world is about to explode.
And I could chase the melody, but I let you down.
I play my darkest symphony when you're by my side
As the walls crumble and the flames ignite.

End of my empire, end of my empire
And I could chase the melody, but I let you down.
I play my darkest symphony when you're by my side
When the walls are crumbling...

I hate to watch you leave me, but I love to watch you leave.
Keep staring at the ceiling while my world is about to explode.
And I could chase the melody, but I let you down.
I play the darkest symphony when you're by my side...

End of my empire!
End of my empire!
End of my empire!

They built you a cage of diamonds and gold
most beautiful place for you to grow old
They brought you the moon and served you the lie
and all that you wanted was freedom to fly
It's heavy
but you are not the only one
who's tired of giving
afraid of the oblivion

But the crown on your head never felt this heavy
Harness your rage, take a leap of faith
to claim back you soul before it's too late
Show them no fear, sing them goodbye
Leave all but your heart and you're free to fly
It's heavy
but you are not the only one
who's tired of giving
afraid of the oblivion
Could it be that your curse is a bliss?
But the weight of the wolrd never felt this heavy
Take the evident leap of faith
Don't you be afraid
It's heavy
but you are not the only one
who's tired of giving
afraid of the oblivion
Could it be that your curse is a bliss?
But the cross that you bear never felt this heavy
You are not the only one
who's tired of living
afraid of the oblivion
Cause the crown on your head, the smile that you wear
the cross that you bear never felt this heavy
The crown on your head never felt this
heavy

The Rasmus Lyrics

They built you a cage of diamonds and gold
The most beautiful place where you will meet your old age...
They got you the moon and surrounded you with lies
And all you wanted was to be free to fly.

It's hard,
But you're not the only one
Who is tired of being afraid of oblivion ...

But the crown on your head has never been so heavy...

Tame your rage, believe in yourself
Claim your soul back before it's too late
Show them the absence of fear, sing them goodbye!
Leave everything but your heart and the freedom to fly...

It's hard,
But you're not the only one
Who is tired of being afraid of oblivion ...
Isn't it possible that your curse is a pleasure?
But the influence of this world has never been so heavy...

Believe in yourself and take the plunge
Do not be afraid…

It's hard,
But you're not the only one
Who is tired of being afraid of oblivion ...
Isn't it possible that your curse is a pleasure?
But the cross you bear has never been so heavy...

You're not the only one
Who is tired of living
Fear of oblivion...
Crown on your head, smile on your face
The cross you bear has never been so heavy...

The crown on your head has never been so heavy...

The group was formed in 1994 in the city of Helsinki. The original line-up of the band included: Lauri Ylönen (vocals), Pauli Rantazalmi (guitar), Eero Heinonen (bass), in November 2000 Aki Markus Hakala joined the band, replacing drummer Janne, who left the band.
The debut performance of Rasmus took place when the guys were still in high school in Helsinki. The band performed at school parties, performing cover versions of songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Their peers were delighted with the performance, and someone even suggested that the group try to write something of their own. True, then they were called Sputnik, then the name was changed to Anttila and finally settled on Rasmus. The name Rasmus is supposed to come from the word trashmosh (trash-hack or trash).
In 1995 they got new manager Teja Kotilainen, who worked at Oranssi Klubi. Having got acquainted with the team, Teja invited them to record a few songs. During the summer holidays, four young guys decide to earn some money. They take jobs in several places at once. Earned money is enough to record the first demo. The team records several songs and sends a demo to various Finnish radio stations. WITH The Rasmus almost the same thing happens that once happened with the members of Roxette. The DJ “accidentally” put the song on the air and after that he was literally flooded with letters and calls with the question “what was it for the group?”. Well, then everything was already happening according to a well-known scenario. In May 1996, Warner Finland released their debut album, called "Peep" and sold with a good record for small Finland. It sold about 10,000 copies of the album.
The whole next year the team is actively touring, gaining more and more fans in different countries. The Rasmus write new songs in surprisingly short time, which are included in the next album of the group "Playboys", released in 1997. The disc is certified gold in Finland. A little later, the group's musicians are awarded the Emmy award in the Best New Group of the Year nomination. In the fall of 1998, The Rasmus released the single "Liquid", which immediately got into the rotation of many Scandinavian MTV radio stations. A year later, the video for the song "Liquid" won the Finnish Music Video Festival. The Rasmus began to be invited to various music festivals, the band performed as an opening act for such stars as Garbage and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In April 2000, The Rasmus signed a contract with Playground Music Scandinavia for the release of the album "Into", which was released in autumn 2001. The album brought the group four Emmy awards at once, and the single “F-F-F-Falling” topped the charts in Finland for three whole months.
At the end of 2001, a joint concert of two groups takes place. The real success and fame for the group come after the release of the album “Dead Letters”, which was born in 2003. Expectations were not in vain, the disc received massive recognition and became widely popular in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia. The album's lead single was "In The Shadows", which won the Best Foreign Song award at the Swedish Hit Music Awards. In November 2003, at the MTV Europe Music Awards, the group received a prize in the nomination "Best Scandinavian Artist".
October 2004 - at the first ceremony of the MTV Russia Music Awards, The Rasmus was recognized as the "Best Foreign Artist" for the clip "In the Shadows".

Finnish rock band formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were still at school. It was founded by Lauri Ylönen (in the Russian-language media his last name is usually incorrectly spelled as Ilonen) (vocals, lyrics), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Lahti was in the group until 1995, after leaving he was replaced by Janne Heiskanen. Heiskanen left the band in 1998 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala.

Before the release of their fourth studio album, Into (2001), the band was simply called Rasmus, but then the name was changed to The Rasmus to avoid the same name as Rasmus Gardel, the name of a Swedish DJ. They gained worldwide fame with their 2003 album "Dead Letters" and the single "In the Shadows", which entered the top music charts in several countries.

The Rasmus is one of the most successful Finnish bands, with over 3.5 million albums sold worldwide and eight gold and five platinum awards. The Rasmus have released eight studio albums, two compilations and 24 singles.
