I always plan to buy a spare battery for cameras in advance. Here I was surprised that Sony does not have a more capacious assortment in its assortment - there is enough space for it in the camera; 2. The lens cap is easy to lose - so I immediately drilled it and tied it under the strap nut from the LCJ-HL branded case. Now about pluses. Feels good in the hand, very fast autofocus compared to other models. After reading reviews about noise and image quality, exaggerated megapixels, in fact, many exaggerate, but of course, there is no smoke without fire. The size of the matrix and aperture of the zoom lens really limit the quality against DSLRs. It is easy to achieve excellent quality from this camera during the day at 15-20 megapixels. At dusk, if the flash cannot be used (or far away, or where it is not allowed to use it), you just need to turn on one of the two preset modes when the camera takes several pictures at once without a flash. After that, the pictures are clear, the noise is reduced by about an order of magnitude compared to the fully automatic mode - but it is better to coarsen the resolution, no higher than 10 megapixels. And pictures of children who cannot freeze in place, at home in the evening without a flash, can be easily obtained without switching to manual modes. Night mode, as in the ancient Sony 828 (in infrared light and with backlight), has not been made in mass cameras for a long time. The flash pleased everyone except voracity. But I think that gluttony and brightness are two sides of the same coin. Portrait in height from 10 meters with a flash is excellent. A couple of hundred shots on a single battery charge can be done, even actively using the zoom and flash. Adjusting the zoom with a gear ring on the lens is very convenient. - Minor: For me, there was a little delay before auto-photo (if I may say so). Sometimes it was possible to put the camera only 50-70 meters from the place of photographing. With the zoom, such a remoteness was easily adjusted as if everything was nearby. However, the delay is so small that it was difficult to reach the place of photographing.
-Auto power off - If you turn on the camera and hold it for a while without any action (without the included video, for example, or do not move the zoom for a long time, etc.), then it automatically turns off. This option cannot be attributed to positive or negative points - it's just a use function (maybe you can turn it off, but I didn't find it), which will be useful for someone, useless for someone, and completely invisible for someone. For me, this option has been a constant problem. I liked to keep my camera at the ready and constantly looked at different ones, incl. and distant, objects. And here you are looking at yourself, watching, enjoying, and then bam, auto-shutdown.
